SBS Variety, “Change” always invites stars every week for a complete transformation and becoming someone else, leading a totally different life from their normal lifestyle. Last Sunday, they managed to invite popular Asian star, Jang Nara to their program and her task was to transform herself into a “dinosaur” girl that no one would want to take a second look at. Jang Nara went for a complete transformation from top to bottom that took several hours and it was a big success in that the hosts could not recognise her initially.

In this week transformation, the make-up artistes added layers of make-up to make her face look chubbier. She even permed her hair to make her look like a middle-aged auntie plus putting on black-rimmed glasses for added effect.

Jang Nara who has never gone match-making before in 28 years of her life, went match-making this time with the name of “Lee Jin Sun” with a guy. Her new image totally scared off the guy who was supposed to meet her and didn’t know what was going on in the first place. Although Jang Nara was happy that her disguise was a success, she no doubt felt crushed to be rejected. This segment was super hilarious and got good reviews from viewers.

Jang Nara second mission for that day was using the same identity, acting as a reporter and going back to her high school. There was this Teacher Jung who doted on Jang Nara when she was schooling and her task was to interview her. As Jang Nara walked nervously towards her teacher, she suddenly exclaimed in Jang Nara’s direction, “You looked very alike to my student, Jang Nara.”

Everyone started getting flustered thinking that Jang Nara identity was busted and Jang Nara tried to cover it up by asking her teacher questions continously. Teacher Jung obliged by talking about the past with Jang Nara, even remembering her student number till this day. Even though Jang Nara has graduated and is now a star, her teacher still prays for her well-being everyday. This touched Jang Nara and everyone listening during that day. This was one of the most touching episodes of “Change” thus far.

At the end of the day, Jang Nara tore off her disguise on stage which led to a huge round of applause from watching students and the scene where she and Teacher Jung hugged each other was extremely moving.

The viewers were generally very happy with the content from this episode and messages from netizens on the official website acknowledged Jang Nara’s effort. They remarked that despite being in the industry for several years now, she still maintains a pure heart which is pretty hard to come by.

Han Ji Hye consoles Lee Dong Gun on her minihompy

Actress Han Ji Hye minihompy has always been one of the most popular ones around. Her break-up with Lee Dong Gun early this year in January after a four year relationship was lamented a pity by many fans.

Lee Dong Gun’s brother lost his life late last month in Sydney after a fatal stabbing incident involving possibly Asian crime gangs. According to sources, when Lee Dong Gun and Han Ji Hye was dating, the latter became very close to his brother and treated him like her own family. And because of this close relationship, Han Ji Hye broke down when she heard about his death.

Han Ji Hye wrote a “Keep fighting!” message recently. It’s speculated that it’s written for Lee Dong Gun who lost his brother and is now a hot topic in Korea.

Han Ji Hye had been to the mourning hall at the hospital on 28th March, just few hours after Lee Dong Gun bought his brother’s urn back from Australia. Eye-witnesses said once she reached the hospital, her tears just kept streaming down her face non-stop, paining everyone who was around her.

Unpredictable Relationships in On Air: Who will end up with who?

SBS drama, “On Air” which revolves around the life of celebrities, managers, producers and writers continues its interesting development. Episode 7 talked about how Oh Seung Ah ex-manager ”cripples” her career and the dark side of artistes management. But the ending sees Seung Ah solving the problem by willing to take a step back and become the second lead instead by acting the 7 year old mentally challenged kid instead of the leading doctor role.

In the following episode 8, we see them going to Taiwan to choose location for filming while Seung Ah goes there as a travel ambassador of some sort. It was interesting to see them in Taiwan and visiting Jiufen which is a famous tourist spot and I have been there a couple of times myself. Seeing them there makes me want to go back there again. Kim Ha Neul also had to speak Chinese because of Oh Seung Ah ambassador role and her Chinese pronounciation was pretty fluent. This episode was very fun and enjoyable to watch.

The relationship development really progressed to another level in this episode and just when you thought that yes, they are together, they throw another storyline in to muddle your thoughts altogether, ingenious.

Right from the second episode, celebrity Oh Seung Ah and manager Jang Ki Joon are paired together while work commitments links writer Seo Young Eun and producer Lee Kyung Min together. Because of Ki Joon’s help seven years ago from a bogus fraudster, Seung Ah is very grateful to him and signs with him despite him struggling now. Jang Ki Joon also tells her about his crush on Young Eun many years ago while she was still a newbie writer. But he never ever told her about his feelings. As for Lee Kyung Min, he is attracted to Young Eun initially for her writing talent and then falls for her. While Young Eun likewise for him after having her tantrums neutralized by him constantly.

In the Taiwan episode, all of them goes to Jiufen separately at first. But by coincidence, Seung Ah meets Kyung Min in a shop where the latter suggests they should go together. Seung Ah agrees as they had a wonderful time together savouring the local delicacies, etc. And when Seung Ah was surrounded by fans who recognised her, Kyung Min suddenly puts his cap on her, takes her hand and runs away from the horde of fans. This was a spanner thrown in the works by the writers to mislead us probably. Then later back at the hotel, Kyung Min looks sweetly at the photos he had taken of her at Jiufen.

On the other hand, Ki Joon meets Young Eun at a teahouse as the earlier expressed his feelings for her vaguely. Extended background between them. There’s also the umbrella scene which adds to the ambuigity.

The confusing seemingly one-sided love between the four leads has gotten many viewers perplexed. Immediately after the Taiwan episode was broadcast, many netizens started posting on the official website hoping to see the four-way relationships being defined more clearly and also started giving their two cents about who should end up with who. Who would you choose?

Viewers are definitely enjoying “On Air” as it surpassed the 20% mark in ratings for both episodes last week, coming in top despite Hong Gil Dong last episode.

Kim Sun Ah was supposed to be part of G.O.D!

Danny Ahn from G.O.D (Groove Over Dose) revealed recently that G.O.D was supposed to be a mixed group of 6 with five guys and one girl.

In KBS2TV “Happy Together” program shown on 27th March, Danny Ahn had revealed, “When G.O.D was formed, it was supposed to be five guys plus one girl to form a six member mixed group. The group name was to be G.O.D Six.”

But then Park Jin Young came in the picture as their producer and said that G.O.D is not going to be a mixed group, recommending Kim Tae Woo to be part of the group instead and dropping the female member totally. Danny Ahn still feels sorry for the supposed-to-be female member of G.O.D.

After that broadcast, the netizens started getting interested in who that female member was and starting leaving messages on the program’s official website.

It was later revealed that the female member was actress Kim Sun Ah who shot to fame thanks to her role in, “My Name is Kim Sam Soon”. Lucky break!!!

“We Got Married” reveals celebrities out of bed looks

The four make-believe newly wed couples on MBC Sunday Sunday Night, “We Got Married”will be showing them getting up from bed and exercising together.

In tonight’s episode, Jung Hyung Don-Saori, Alex-Shin Ae, Solbi-Andy, Crown J-Seo In Young couples will reveal their fresh faces after getting up from bed. The four couple will also get a “exercise together for a healthy lifestyle” mission. The couples will have lots of interesting ideas to choose from. Andy-Solbi couple chose Pocketball and things got interesting after they decided to wager on the person who loses will have to give the other person a light peck.

Alex who charmed Shin Ae previously with his culinary skills and song bought her to a gym this time. Alex volunteered to become Shin Ae’s fitness trainer and his strict training regime even shocked the production team filming them.

Crown J and Seo In Young continued in their battle to assume supremacy over each other. They were suppose to go exercising but with both of them hating that, they started squabbling with each other, amply showing that they are the ticking time bomb couple in the program.

“We Got Married” is the first-ever program in Korea that unites two celebrities together to become a couple. Since it’s first episode on 9th March, it has gotten good reviews. After just two episodes, the growing popularity among viewers could be the catalyst for “Sunday Sunday Night” to see a surge in their ratings.

Have heard good reviews about this and frankly miss the romance factor in Korean variety. Although this is partly scripted, it still is helluva interesting especially after I watched the chinese subbed episode 2.

Lee Dong Gun brings his brother’s urn back to Korea

Lee Dong Gun returned to Korea via Incheon Airport at around 6pm yesterday evening with his brother’s urn. He wore the customary black suit with a pained expression on his face as he exchanged a few words with grieved relatives at the arrival gate before swiftly departing the airport.

When Lee Dong Gun appeared at the arrival gate area with the urn yesterday, his relatives couldn’t bear the grief and started sobbing. Lee Dong Gun was expressionless and his blood-shot eyes tells us that the loss of his dear brother has bought him immense pain and we can only look on.

His brother, Lee Joon Yub, 19, collapsed and died on the footpath outside World Square after he and a friend became embroiled in a brawl with two Chinese teenagers and was stabbed outside Hungry Jacks on 20th March.

Lee Dong Gun who had been very close to his brother immediately flew to Australia with his parents the next day to claim his body after learning of the tragic news. His brother’s body was cremated in Sydney on 26th March.

Upon returning, Lee Dong Gun immediately headed for the Samsung Medical Center at Ilwon-Dong where his brother’s urn will be placed temporarily at the mourning hall. The funeral will run for four days while a memorial service will be conducted in a Catholic church through a mass format on 31st March.

Actress and former girlfriend of Lee Dong Gun, Han Ji Hye came to the mourning hall and used her tears to console him over the tragic loss of his brother. She arrived at around 11.30pm last night, just a few hours after Lee Dong Gun had returned with his brother’s urn from Australia.

According to someone from Han Ji Hye’s company, “After completing the filming for “I Hate You But It’s Fine” drama, she rushed over to the hospital immediately.” It’s understood that when she arrived, she started tearing because she had lost someone who was like a brother to her as well.

Han Ji Hye and Lee Dong Gun was a couple until the end of last year when they broke up which left many fans disappointed.

Korean words emblazoned on Rain’s race suit in Speed Racer arouses interest

A full-length body picture of global popstar, Rain who plays Taejo Togokhan in his Hollywood debut movie, “Speed Racer” was revealed recently and the Korean words emblazoned on his track suit aroused interest.

“Speed Racer” is adapated from 1960s Japanese anime Mach GoGoGo which was authored by Tatsuo Yoshida. The movie is written and directed by the Wachowski brothers of Matrix trilogy fame.

Rain plays a East Asian rookie driver and his character invited criticism in the production stage because his Taejo Togokhan character was originally Japanese but yet he was representing Korea.

So with that in mind, Rain started brainstorming in order to make his Taeko character look Koreanised and one of his ideas was to emblazon Korean wordings on his track suit and helmet.

According to Rain’s management, “Rain is one of Korea’s top stars and with this being a Hollywood movie, we have been trying our best to change the original Japanese driver image into a Korean one. He (Rain) suggested to the production company to emblazon Korean words on his track suit and helmet and they thought it was a feasible idea and it was later adopted.

They also added that the Korean words emblazoned on the left arm of his track suit and helmet wrote, “Togokhan” which also meant that the Japanese identity was being marginalised.

Rain’s movie, “Speed Racer” will be shown all over the world on 8th May. He is now currently undergoing training in Berlin, Germany for his leading role in Hollywood movie, “Ninja Assassin”.

Charlene Choi on the verge of nervous breakdown?

Gossip magazines are famed for writing exaggerated stories based on pictures. But I decided to post this since I think there’s some truth in that Charlene Choi is really tired and stressed out lately having to do so much by herself.

Charlene Choi is reportedly on the verge of breaking down due to the stress and tiredness of doing everything by herself in the absence of Gillian Chung who is still on vacation. Two magazines have reportedly claimed different stories to suggest that Charlene is not in the best of conditions right now.

“3 Weekly” claims that Gillian had gone on a lovey dovey vacation with Juno Mak, leaving Charlene to fend for herself and taking in all the pressure from the fallout of the scandal. This has led to Charlene feeling stressed out and her weight has dropped to only 88 pounds with her health blinking red.

It continued by saying that Charlene often cries to herself after reaching home and is having sleepless nights. Fallout from the Edison Chen Scandal: Strife Within the C.L.O.T. Family

Those who are privy to the rumblings at Edison Chen’s lifestyle company, CLOT, may have noticed that music producer Hanjin’s blog has been conspicuously removed from the CLOT blogs in the wake of the Edison Chen scandal.

Who is Hanjin? Well, the native Singaporean also known as 陈奂仁 is a member of the music group Invisible Men and has performed with and written/produced many songs for Edison. In fact, Edison has gone on record in the past as saying that “the only reason I still do music is because of Hanjin.” So why the fallout?

Apparently, in the weeks after the whole EDC scandal Hanjin posted a peculiar blog post with the subject line “monster turtle from the past…destroying everything in it’s path.” In the controversial blog post, is a picture of a sword-wielding toy princess chopping off the head of a poor toy turtle. Clearly, there were undertones to this post as Hanjin’s blog is now defunct and he is rumored to have taken up a job with now infamous EEG.

His post obviously can be interpreted as a major sign of disloyalty not only to Edison but to the CLOT family. It would not come as a surprise if CLOT higher-up Kevin Poon said enough is enough and fired Hanjin. Clearly, they are trying to keep tight-lipped about this as nobody has even come close to commenting on the incident on their blogs. This is a strong showing of loyalty to Edison.

Serendipitously, Edison’s JUICE store in HK is now undergoing renovations giving them some months to regroup and plot out their next moves in the game.

Edison in Hong Kong? In America? Does it matter?

East Asia Music has been claiming that Edison Chen is in America now after leaving Hong Kong secretly last month. But according to a latest Hong Kong gossip magazine, he is now actually still in Hong Kong staying at Le Meridien Cyberport Hotel. They even have a photo as evidence but with it being extremely poor and low resolution, it’s hard to tell whether it’s Edison at all.

Verification was sought with Ms Leong from East Asia Music but she firmly insisted, “He’s in America!”

According to the magazine, Edison did leave Hong Kong last month and was in Bangkok. But instead of going to America, he took another flight back to Hong Kong instead. Upon arrival, he headed straight for Le Meridien Cyberport Hotel instead of his own apartment and has been there ever since. He is actually settling his personal matters and preparing for his school term in America, waiting for the term to start before flying there.

The magazine revealed that Edison who is a habitual smoker has been seen in his 9th floor room puffing away and special arrangement has been made with the hotel to use the special entrance if needed.

An eye witness said to the magazine on 9th March that she had seen him near the hotel, “Around 5pm, I saw him wearing a t-shirt, jeans and beanie and made his way to Cyberport’s The Arcade from the hotel. He did not have any bodyguards with him but was with a 20 year old foreign lady.

“I saw with my own eyes that Edison was with a quite good looking westerner. She was holding documents and it seems like they were talking business. They were laughing and Edison appeared to be relaxed. But when he noticed that someone was looking at him, he immediately looked down and walked away quickly.”

The case has died down and the magazine is just trying to pull a fast one. That photo might not be a recent one anyway.

Gillian Chung visits White Dragon King in Thailand

Thailand’s White Dragon King (白龙王) is an extremely popular divine figure in the Hong Kong entertainment industry and even East Asia Music Boss, Peter Lam and Albert Yeung of Emperor Entertainment Group have make it a habit of visiting him often for ”advice”. Another well-known star is Tony Leung Chiu Wai.

After Edison’s scandal broke out, Peter Lam had actually flew out to Thailand on the same day of his press conference to seek a remedy to the problem.

On 9th March, Albert Yeung was discovered visiting White Dragon Temple together with Ah Gill (Gillian Chung) to seek a solution to their problem.

In contrast to others who came to seek his help, Gillian had about 5cm of her hair snipped off by White Dragon King while paying her respects to him who then proceeded to store it in a small transparent bag. He then started chanting towards it apparently trying to dispel the “misfortune” befalling it’s owner.

But he took a rest midway through the chanting possibly realising that it was futile and said to Albert Yeung, “You (Albert) will be fine, but your employee (Gillian) will not be.” Albert Yeung appeared helpless at his words.

Despite the lack of photos/videos leaked by “Kira”, the nude photo scandal has been kept going these past few days thanks to police leaking information about starlets implicated to the various Hong Kong magazines.

The latest shocking relevation do not involve female starlets but the names of 8 daughters from wealthy families who have been thrown into the mix as well!

I am not sure why, but the longer this goes on with no end in sight, more names are being thrown up. Surely someone has to stop this from happening. Could there be a “mole” in the police? Even if “Kira” has stopped his work, another list of female starlets involved has been made known and it includes seven of them plus shockingly, two guys as well! Two photos included 3P scenes while one of the guys is apparently a male artiste.

Edison hasn’t really suffered from this at all especially since he managed to enter and depart Hong Kong without any bodily hurt. In fact, he is more well-known than before and is set for Hollywood where this scandal is likely to have little impact and less pressure on him than if he was to stay in Hong Kong.

Edison Chen leaves Hong Kong secretly

Edison Chen has apparently left Hong Kong secretly for Los Angeles via Bangkok yesterday afternoon after sending the media on a wild goose chase with a “cat and mouse” manoeuvre.

Edison Chen’s mode of escape was described in detail by the media today as he managed to shake off the cluster of media camping at the Four Seasons Hotel and made his “escape” overseas without too much attention.

Yesterday at 7 in the morning, the 7-seater car (which Edison used to get around) and the BMW (used by his bodyguards to cover his car) left Four Seasons Hotel for Edison’s home and parked there until around 3 in the afternoon before it returned to the hotel. The reporters were shocked to learn that Edison was sighted at the airport at around 2.45pm. He had apparently took another car during that period to get to the airport. It’s said that he said goodbye smugly when he passed by the boarding gates.

He is expected to be discussing a possible movie deal in Los Angeles through his Hollywood agent, William Morris before leaving for New York where he will enrol in the six months movie production course at New York University. He will thus not be back in Hong Kong for at least the next year or so.

Edison participation in the investigations with the police ended on 26th February and he has stated through his lawyers that he left Hong Kong knowing that his status is that as a victim. But the police claims otherwise and said that that is what Edison thinks. They refused to count out the possibility of him turning into an accused party.

Meanwhile in the latest Next Magazine, Nicholas Tse is reportedly faking a front in front of everyone and is deliberating over a divorce with Cecilia Chung.

He is apparently still pretty upset with Cecilia for lying to him about her fling with Edison while dating him. He is stopping short of asking for a divorce in case Cecilia brings their son and commit suicide together and second, not wanting to be seen as a “heartless” husband.

Two well-known female stars involved in Edison Chen’s scandal?

It must be really silly of the police to reveal that they have found more female celebrities pictures in Edison’s computers but yet not reveal the names. Various newspapers especially the scandalist magazines in Hong Kong have latched onto these and create name lists of their own based on “leaked” information and clues from the police supposedly. This was inevitable since “Kira” disappeared and they had to do follow-up reports on the scandal.

Now in the latest Sudden Weekly magazine, it claims that among the photos newly discovered from Edison’s computer, two of them are actually very famous female starlets. Yes, very famous they stress.

According to sources, the two big female stars enjoy a revered status and has tremendous influence in the industry. They also have good relations with both the wealthy and underground world. If their photos are exposed, Edison would face even greater pressure and possibly incur possible death.

The magazine even released silhouette images of the two female stars so they must have an idea of who exactly they are. On the left is the female starlet who is named, “车仔面” and has two sets of photos. Ten of them shows her wearing her undergarments in a hotel room in different poses. The other 20 photos sees her and another guy together and their actions are linked, possibly screencaps from a video. This female star is reportedly a very beautiful woman possibly in this world. She was very active in her early days in the movie world and had lots of scandals with many stars. Netizens guess it’s Shu Qi or Christy Chung.

The other woman on the right is known as “冇艇搭”and is nearing 40 years old. She has appeared in movies over the past 20 years but is gradually moving towards a career in the financial world. Her photos are mostly taken in a hotel and has many close-ups and is quite “racy”. The photos aren’t very clear though and are likely to come from a video. Widely speculated to be Carina Lau.

More female starlets linked with Edison Chen nude photos scandal

With the case still undergoing investigation, the police revealed new hints yesterday to the media about the characteristics of the newly-found female starlets photos they found in Edison’s home last week. I am not sure if that was a wise move, because netizens started linking them to starlets which were either or never romantically liked with Edison before.

1. Pouty-lips woman　　
Older than Edison but has a great body. Most of the photos centered on the legs and some “racy” clips. Netizens are guessing it might be Shu Qi.

2. Big-face doll
Knew Edison from commercial filming. Rarely appears in sexy image. She is very restrained in the photos and only the guy is “active” all the time. Fiona Sit?　　

3. Idol singer
Has said recently that she has nothing to do with Edison in many interviews, no photos at all. But actually there are. In the photos, she is without make-up and doesn’t have a great body. But she has fair skin but poses are very “stiff”. Netizens are guessing it’s Stephy Tang.　

4. Dreamy Girl　
Talented female singer who debuted in 2005. Knew another mixed-blood girl in a pub. Her photos are mainly of her, another girl and a guy. Most are close-ups and her photos are apparently the most “hardcore” ones. Jill Vidal?

Some might be real and some might be just pure speculation. But in the end, who suffers? The female starlet of course. This could be one of the mind games of the police to “force” female starlets to co-operate with them instead of just shutting their doors and denying any involvement.

On the contrary to what was reported earlier, Candice Chen and Bobo Chan marriage could be back on. Candice apparently has staunch support from her boyfriend and although the banquet is off, the wedding will go on probably in Hong Kong or overseas and they will start a new life overseas as well.

Bobo Chan future hubby has always been supporting her through this tough times. And even her father-in-law has supported Bobo saying he doesn’t mind her past as long as she loves his son and vice versa. The only stumbling block is her mother-in-law who is still seething from this and Bobo would have to win her over to get her wedding back on track.

According to sources, Edison claimed in his statement that his actions was to benefit another party. Their motive was to threaten the female starlets to do their bidding with these photos and videos. It’s not surprising if it’s true, since triads and entertainment companies have long been linked together.

Edison plans to leave the Hong Kong entertainment industry isn’t going to come anytime soon. It’s reported that he is due to organise a concert for a group under his label which was going to happen soon but postponed to the latter half of the year because of a lack of sponsors. Gillian leaves message for fans; Ella Koon denies involvement

Since the nude photo scandal, Gillian Chung has not spoken much about that other than the ill-conceived message she gave at the press conference earlier this month. Yesterday morning at 4.41am, she left a message at one of Twin’s fan forum, as she spoke about how difficult this whole thing has been for her, showing that her strong image on the outside is not as it seems.

A picture of Ella Koon resting her head on a pillow surfaced yesterday and rumors abound that she might be involved in the scandal. But she has immediately refuted that by saying she was not in a relationship with Edison but she is acquainted with him merely as a contact. That picture was taken in a bus with her resting her head on the head rest and we were thinking too much.

On the other hand, Edison was questioned again for 5 hours yesterday and will leave Hong Kong once investigations draws to a close. It’s noted that he is feeling more relaxed and has a better appetite since his press conference.

On a happier note, Edison is primed for a meatier role in the new Batman Part 3. The director was happy with his cameo role in Batman Part 2: The Dark Knight and praised him for his acting skills.

“Kira” dead? Disappeared with the money? Caught by police? Whatever it is, stars implicated in the scandal can’t seem to distance themselves from this.

Edison Chen had been staying in Four Seasons Hotel last Friday to escape the media onslaught on his home. But a twist of coincidence saw Nicholas Tse and Cecilia Cheung also checking into the same hotel that same day, it’s believed that when they bumped into each other, both men nearly came to blows with Cecilia crying and trying to separate them. Nicholas was softened by her tears but still faced off against Edison for about 3 minutes. He finally relented and backed off, probably mindful of the costly bodyguards that Edison had hired. Nicholas and Cecilia checked out of the hotel immediately and headed back to their own home. Conflicting reports on whether they still are together.

Bobo Chan whose wedding plans was scuppered by this unfortunate scandal is reportedly three months pregnant which might explain why she was about to get married. But with her wedding now officially off because of objections from her mother-in-law, netizens are up in arms and feeling unjust for her.

Jolin Tsai whose name has been tainted by this scandal has asked for the Hong Kong police to release the list of female starlets implicated in this. According to sources, the list of unidentified women photos which was newly discovered in Edison’s home last week belonged to a Taiwanese star, Hong Kong star and a model. Elva Hsiao is also implicated in this because of past links with Edison.

Jolin hopes that the police will reveal names so that her reputation is not tarnished by this. But the police themselves are at their wits end because despite pleas to Cecilia Cheung, Candice Chen and other female stars linked to this scandal to help with investigations, none of them have been willing to step forward to co-operate. With no one stepping forward, the Hong Kong police has no choice but to keep their silence over this matter.

The Hong Kong police have also refused to rule out the possibility that Edison Chen could turn from being a victim in this scandal and be charged in court instead for photographing Vincy who could be underaged when she was photographed and being in possession of “racy” photos and videos.

Edison Chen has more photos than what was previously speculated!

In the aftermath of Edison Chen’s press conference last Thursday, he has been dutifully assisting the Hong Kong police in their investigation into the nude photos scandal. Other than welcoming them into his home to collect evidence, the only other place he has been to is the police station.

The police went to Edison’s house on Thursday night to collect evidence from his computers. Edison Chen has also been at Wanchai Police HQ for the past two days in a row to be interviewed but nothing conclusive has come out of this.

Rumours though surfaced that from the computer equipment surrendered by Edison, the police have discovered almost 1,000 more sex photos that they did not previously know about. They also discovered sex video clips. Three new women, who appear to be celebrities, have been implicated by the new photos and police have contacted them after Edison IDed them. They are believed to be the rumoured girlfriends of Edison Chen over the past few years.

Meanwhile, Gillian has reportedly caved in to the numerous criticism directed towards her this past week and have shut herself off from the world and turned down job offers. And in contrast to Edison’s apology which got him some breathing space at least for now, Gillian’s “I’m Naive” apology has lowered her popularity level even further. The nude photos scandal is clearly coming to an end with only investigations pending. It has been an interesting past few weeks thanks to “Kira” but Hong Kong image has clearly taken a big hit here.

Update: In the aftermath, Hong Kong police visited Edison’s home yesterday evening to gather evidence as he surrendered his computer equipment.

The man behind the nude photos scandal, Edison Chen accompanied by East Asia Music boss, Peter Lam flew back to Hong Kong via Philippines at 10am this morning. His immediate destination upon arrival was Kowloon police station.

He held a press conference at 3pm in Kowloon World Trade Centre and just like what Gillian did earlier, he only read a statement in english (chinese translation would be given to the media) and did not answer any questions.

Edison Chen doesn’t have photos of starlets only; Gillian might be fired from EEG?

Due to the unfortunate passing of Lydia Sum early yesterday morning, Edison Chen’s face for the first time in three weeks, was off the headlines of various newspapers. With no further action by “Kira” or any headway made by the police in the past few days, more speculation filled the papers just to keep the scandal going until Edison mades his statement later this week.

According to the latest Southern Metropolis Weekly, Edison Chen doesn’t just possess photos of fellow female stars but also including the wives and daughters of predominant businessmen and members of Hong Kong’s elite society. Now you know why the triads are after him!

Edison was undoubtedly a “playboy” in his own league and once wagered with a director that he had nude photos of female starlets. The director didn’t believed him and in the end lost 100 thousand HK dollars to Edison.

Edison is also reportedly to have been “hurt” by love in the past which resulted in his behavior of photographing every female he has been with and sharing it with his friends. According to a close associate of Edison, he would often pull out every trick in his book to get them to do what he wants them to. It includes buying them Cartier couple bracelets (almost every female star has them), sweet talking, etc. “He knows what women want, and their love for branded stuff. He would always get them “limited” edition stuff and then sweet talk them, for example, ‘You’re my princess’. After all that, every girl thinks they are really that great and would then succumb to whatever he requests.”

With Edison’s image taking a battering and his non-action in addressing the situation, his sponsors are apparently very unhappy with him and already, five companies have cancelled their contracts with him and might file lawsuits against him for violating the terms of his contract. Facing the prospect of unemployment and lawsuits, Edison is heading for potential financial meltdown.

It hasn’t been any better for Gillian Chung either. She has become the “target” of Hong Kong citizens since her comeback after the scandal broke.

Gillian made her second public appearance with fellow Twins member, Charlene Choi yesterday at an EEG event. They were the last to perform and did what they were suppose to do. This was despite TVB receiving a record number of complaints over her appearance during a charity event on Sunday.

Many netizens have been sticking up products that Gillian endorsed and asked fellow netizens to boycott buying them until the day Gillian announces her intention to leave the entertainment industry. According to sources, EEG is only testing how the “market” is reacting to Gillian and if this continues to go on without an end in sight, they might release her from her contract.

Their manager has denied this and said that she is just trying to get through this testing period and do her best. Meanwhile, Gillian will appear on another show tonight with Charlene because their song was No.1 on the charts.

Edison Chen to return this week?; Gillian sings amongst complaints

Edison Chen’s exact location is presently still a mystery to all. His last known whereabouts was in Vancouver but is now reportedly back in Boston. There were apparently airport sightings of him in Shanghai yesterday but it was a hoax after a check with immigration. An East Asia Music spokesperson revealed however that Edison would be back within this week and the earliest would be this Thursday or Friday. He is under fire from basically the whole world and will make his stand regarding the whole matter in a press conference.

Security is the biggest obstacle holding Edison from coming back to Hong Kong. There are reportedly instructions passed from a renowed triad boss that whoever cut off one of Edison’s hands will receive a 500 thousand cashfall. The police aren’t taking this threat lightly and are monitoring the situation. Edison has revealed (not sure if it’s reliable) that he was forced to take these pictures so that someone can use them to force the female starlets to do things they didn’t want. Hasn’t been seen in public since his public statement video.

Gillian Chung returned to the stage on Sunday for the first time since the scandal but her presence has drawn hundreds of complaints.

Chung and her singing partner, Charlene Choi of the pop duo Twins, were among an all-star line-up for a show, held by the local TVB station, fundraising for the snowstorm-stricken people on the mainland.

TVB received more than 170 complaints against Chung appearing on the show and their gripe was they couldn’t accept her explanation and accused her of lacking honesty and some acted to boycott her.

At the Sunday show, many attending stars expressed their support for Chung, but the 27-year-old appeared on the stage looking a bit melancholy. Although there were dozens of Twins’ fans holding supportive banners on site, Chung seemingly eschewed making eye contact with the audience. She left the show immediately after Twins’ performance.

Critics claim the scandal is set to take a toll on her career. Since she is on the cast for Chen Kaige’s upcoming biopic about Peking opera legend Mei Lanfang, many media reports suspect that her scenes might eventually be cut out, which the film’s producer denied.

Conflicting reports on whether Nicholas & Cecilia are ok and separated. In her police statement said she was not drugged or forced to take the pictures. Her statement indirectly implied that the photos are real and not photoshopped.

Bobo Chan is flying back to Hong Kong from America, her wedding is confirmed off. Candice Chen beau is however not going to let this affect their wedding plans. New set of Edison & Bobo Chan pictures released yesterday, but nowhere to be seen.

Vincy rejects Edison’s marriage proposal; Gillian is married?

We know that Edison’s not coming back to Hong Kong today and word is that the initial news saying he was returning today was cooked up by the media in the first place. So there’s no need for East Asia Music nor Edison to comment on the no-show today. They refused to set a date on his eventual return.

The media revealed yesterday that Edison Chen had been actually proposing to Vincy all this while in Boston that they should get married, not once but at least four times. He hoped to use the marriage as a base to turn over a new leaf and even sought to threatening slitting his wrists to “force” Vincy to accept. But following discussions with her family, Vincy rejected his proposal firmly.

It’s believed that instead of flying back to Hong Kong today, he has gone to Vancouver, Canada to help his mother move to another place (avoid the media glare) and also take temporary refuge for some relief.

His refusal to return to Hong Kong now stems from the fact that he could be hunted down by the triads upon his entry and also possible prosecution (victim -> accused) by the police for his involvement in the scandal.

Rumours flew around the media yesterday that Gillian and Juno Mak with whom she has been seen with since the scandal broke got married secretly. A simple check at the marriage registry yielded no results and an interview with Gillian’s manager revealed, “Stop kidding!”. It’s most likely another hoax once again.

A close friend of Gillian revealed that she was not upset with the photos being leaked but more so at Edison Chen for apparently cheating on her while dating her. “Gillian really loved Edison then and would do anything that he asked her. She thought she could hold on to him in this way. You can imagine how hurt she felt when she saw the photos and realised she was being cheated on. It’s said that Edison loves to brag to his friends about the women he has conquered.”

Gillian has been meeting with lots of obstacles since returning to work. Twins were not on the list for an annual event hosted by a Hong Kong radio station even though they were regulars in previous years. Their plans to tour Taiwan next week to promote their album has been put on hold. She is however slated to appear in tonight’s TVB “Aid for Snow Storm Victims”event but the television station has received lots of complaints to stop her from appearing. What will happen tonight then? Will there be boos or applause when she appears?
